Climate Policy
The Climate Defence Network's main focus is on developing climate
change policy proposals, making use of the expertise contained within
our Supporting Organisations.
Current Policy Work
We are currently developing responses to the Government's proposed
target to take the Copenhagen climate negotiations in December 2009,
and to the greatly weakened Emissions Trading Scheme which the Government
has introduced to Parliament with the support of the Maori Party.
When these responses have been completed, we will post them here.
